I had a two-day work trip to Milwaukee planned for the end of October. I knew I would have some down time and decided it would a great opportunity to get out and take some photos of the area. I did a little bit of research and came across Whitnall Park. Let me start with the park is huge and filled with beautiful things.
Whitnall Park Will Rose Apartments
The Boerner Botanical Gardens Grand Hall features a 21-by-21 dance floor, two 6-by-8 risers, 60-inch round tables for eight guests each, and upholstered-style chairs. Large windows let guests enjoy the view of the Fragrance Garden. Rentals and catering of Boerner Hall are provided by Zilli Hospitality Group.

The 660-acre Whitnall Park is located in Hales Corners and encompasses the world-famous 50-acre Boerner Botanical Gardens and Wehr Nature Center. Whitnall Pond is an area with many photographic possibilities, in the fall you get the colors, the spring you get fog forming on the lake almost daily.

They have the county's Botanical Gardens, a golf course, a sledding hill, Wehr Nature Center, multiple playgrounds, several picnic areas and miles of trails. Who can ask for more than that? The park is absolutely huge - so much so that I'm often lost when driving through it. Even on a busy summer day, you can find a quiet corner.
